The first Newsletter has been produced by LEC Bristol using the printing services of BUPA Glen Hospital Bristol as part of the support they provide at both national and local level to Life Education Centres.
LEC Bristol, started by Bristol Club Past Presidents Lyndon Whyatt and Ian Beattie in 1997, went into schools in September 2001 and currently visits 11,2000 children in 60 schools across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
The Board plus non Board members consists of Rotarians from Bristol(4), Bristol Aztec(2), Bristol Breakfast(1), Bristol E. Avon(1), Clifton(1) plus an ex Soroptimist. The Payroll is handled by a Company led by a Rotarians from Kingswood Club. All in all a great Joint Rotary operation
