Each year, thousands of young people all over the world take part in local and
international Rotary
Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) programmes. |
District 1100 invites young people aged between 16 and 18 to join a week long Youth Leadership Award
course. All expenses will be borne by the participant's local Rotary Club.
|
 |
Participants can expect an action packed week during which their leadership |
|
potential will be developed to the full. The programme is a carefully structured series of
confidence building exercises, backed up with theory and reviews. |
 |
|
The course will help young people to: |
| ■ |
develop their self esteem and improve their communication and leadership skills; |
| ■ |
be able to use their initiative in demanding situations; |
| ■ |
learn about business, meet Rotarians and - most important of all - have fun. |
