Rotary District 1100 - in the West Country and Welsh Marches of the United Kingdom
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
RYLA Each year, thousands of young people all over the world take part in local and international Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) programmes.
District 1100 invites young people aged between 16 and 18 to join a week long Youth Leadership Award course.  All expenses will be borne by the participant's local Rotary Club.
Participants can expect an action packed week during which their leadership
potential will be developed to the full. The programme is a carefully structured series of confidence building exercises, backed up with theory and reviews.
The course will help young people to:
develop their self esteem and improve their communication and leadership skills;
be able to use their initiative in demanding situations;
learn about business, meet Rotarians and - most important of all - have fun.
