The Rotary Young Musician competition was created to give young people the chance to show off their musical talents. The RIBI national competition has been running for two years and District 1100 has provided the winners in each year. |

Competitions are organised at Club ( or groups of clubs), District, Regional and finally National level. |
The next national final is likely to be held in May 2011. To fit in with that date our District finals will have to be held in March 2011. To that end clubs should give Bryan Bamber advance notice of participating by 19th December 2010 latest so he can make the necessary arrangements for a District Final ( these things cannot be organised overnight).
Each club is entitiled to submit a participant for the District competition. Where a group of clubs, organising a joint competition, wish to participate in the district final, each of the participating clubs may submit an entrant. |

At club level the rules are often determined by the clubs themselves. For District, regional and National finals, however, the RIBI National rules will apply. The latest rules covering the 2011 competition will be published soon and be shown as an attachment below. |
